Vicoma Ranks Among PropertyNL’s Top 10 Architects

Every year, PropertyNL publishes a list of the top architects. It highlights the firms that completed the most square meters of distribution centers, data centers, and commercial real estate in the previous year. With 134,060 m2, we—along with Archicom, a Vicoma brand—rank sixth on this list this year. And we’re proud of that!

Last year, with 63,415 m2, we were still ranked eleventh on the PropertyNL list. With a sixth-place finish and a whopping 134,060 square meters delivered, we are very satisfied with this year’s results. We were able to achieve this by completing various projects in 2022 for clients including Delin Property and Weerts Group.

Distinctive Designs for Delin Property

We have worked on new distribution centers in Roosendaal and Gilze for Delin Property. Following previous successful collaborations, we were approached again by Delin Property last year. And they asked us to start working on a design for a state-of-the-art warehouse in Roosendaal. Key aspects of this design are that the space can be arranged flexibly and in accordance with the corporate identity. The result was a success, and later that year, it gave Delin Property enough reason to ask us to work with them again. The assignment: “Create a worthy successor to your tried-and-true, successful designs in Gilze.” The result: a distinctive design that fits well within the client’s portfolio.

In addition, we have carried out projects for this client at two existing locations. New tenants often have their own specific wishes and requirements. In order to meet these requirements, the locations had to be modified, which is why we submitted the designs for this purpose.

Weerts Group aims to respond flexibly to market demands with its distribution center

We also worked with Weerts Group on the design for a new distribution center in Oosterhout. In a previous interview, our architect Anthony Verhoeven spoke about this project: “Weerts Logistics Parks wanted to ensure that the 125,000 m² lot and 75,000 m² of gross floor area could be used optimally by the tenants. To respond flexibly to market demands, the building had to be easily divisible into multiple units and equipped with all facilities in line with market standards.” Curious?
