About the Project
The integration of a new switching station near existing buildings on a small plot of land requires a careful approach. Stedin engaged us to design and manage the entire structural engineering process, including the building services. During construction, we were responsible for ensuring quality through supervision and guidance.
Vicoma’s Role
Through intensive coordination with the client and close involvement of the mechanical and electrical engineering consultant, a design was developed that perfectly addresses the condition and operational reliability of this station. Together, we ensured optimal integration into the site. We were pleased to handle the coordination of the engineering, construction supervision, and inspection. After the new building was completed, part of the existing structure was demolished. We prepared the demolition specifications in advance.
Result
A low-maintenance, modern 10 kV switching station designed to replace the existing installation and the outdated building. Thanks to careful integration, the distribution station is easily accessible, while safety and optimal functionality are amply ensured.
