About the Project
In 2001, Vicoma was first commissioned by the municipality of Wageningen to provide support for the technical management of municipal real estate.
In total, this involves approximately eighty buildings with a combined gross floor area (GFA) of approximately 84,000 m2. These include, among others, support facilities, sports facilities, and schools. By successfully completing this project to the client’s full satisfaction, a long-term partnership was established that continues to this day.
Vicoma’s Role
To ensure efficiency, a Vicoma consultant was on site at the client’s location on a weekly basis from the start. This created “short lines of communication.” Over time,
Our role has shifted more toward remote support. In terms of content, we continued to offer the same expertise.
Result
A satisfied customer thanks to a pleasant and long-term partnership! Vicoma takes the burden off the customer when it comes to maintenance management by organizing and overseeing scheduled maintenance, including general structural consulting. Buildings are inspected and defects are reported in accordance with NEN 2767.
Vicoma also draws up and keeps multi-year maintenance plans up to date. As part of the implementation process, permits and grant applications are prepared, drawings are produced, and budgets and cost estimates are drawn up. Finally, Vicoma oversees the bidding and awarding of contracts, supervises construction, and manages the project.
