Back to the overview

The integration of a new switching station near existing buildings on sloped terrain called for a careful and considered approach. Stedin confidently entrusted this task to us.

Vicoma’s Role

In close collaboration with Stedin and the installation consultant, we developed a design for the building, including the tertiary installations. We carefully integrated the building into the site, with particular attention to the condition and reliability of the station.

We took responsibility for coordinating the engineering work as well as construction management and oversight. Following completion of the new building, part of the existing structure was demolished according to our demolition specifications.

Result

A modern, low-maintenance 13 kV switching station; a contemporary replacement for the existing 12.5 kV installation and outdated building. Why shouldn’t a switching station be aesthetically pleasing? We have proven otherwise. And this isn’t the first time!
