Due to the ever-increasing demand for products in relation to the explosive growth of the Internet of Things phenomenon, Advantech asked Archicom to assist it in realising its expansion plans. Advantech is a world leader in intelligent Internet of Things systems and embedded platforms.
Archicom’s role in realising Advantech expansion plans
Advantech had been toying with the idea of expanding its Eindhoven office for several years. Over the years, Archicom produced various designs for this purpose. Ranging from sketches to fully developed drawings. Eventually, approval for the expansion plans was given from Taiwan in mid-2016. Archicom then further developed the plans in a Design & Build combination with Dura Vermeer Zuid and realised the expansion.
Result
A significant expansion of warehouse, assembly and office space. Thanks to smart design and implementation solutions and well-tuned planning, Advantech was able to continue its business processes, without interruption, during construction. As a result, customers were continuously provided with excellent service.
